About
“Nothing can dim the light that shines from within.”
–Maya Angelou

At our core, I believe that we are all meant to feel light and bright - unburdened, happy, able to illuminate our own paths and shine upon everyone we meet. But life often gets in the way, making us feel heavy and even dark at times - like our inner light has dimmed or maybe even disappeared.
I promise you it’s still there, and I would love the chance to help you feel light again, whatever that means to you.

My Story
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice in beautiful Red Bank, NJ. I view myself as an Eclectic Counselor, meaning that I draw from many different modalities to help my clients achieve their desired goals. I believe that of the utmost importance to the therapeutic relationship is the ability for both parties to show up in an authentic and genuine way. As such, I utilize myself as a tool to establish rapport and maintain connection throughout the therapeutic process; whether it be through the use of humor, appropriate self-disclosure or even mildly colorful language to drive home a point!
I have a background in School Counseling as well as Mental Health Counseling, including agency work. I have been in the field for over 15 years, and in my “past life” I worked in marketing and advertising. I have had the honor of working with people of all ages, with a current focus on adolescents and adults. I attended Marist College, Rutgers University and Kean University.
I live at the Jersey Shore with my husband, two children and a Cavapoo named Rufus. In my spare time, I love practicing yoga, reading, spending time outdoors and listening to all kinds of music!
